Troubleshooting Lynx Dongle

My Lynx Dongle is not working.[edit]

  1. Make sure that your PIC is programmed with the proper firmware.
  2. If you have a PIC programmer, you can program it yourself with the latest firmware.
  3. If you do not have a programmer, find someone to help program your dongle PIC.

My Lynx Dongle is not getting detected by windows.[edit]

  1. Check all of your solder joints again.
  2. Do you have the FTDI Drivers installed?
  3. Try changing USB cables.
  4. There was one report of at least one bad FTDI USB module.
