The Lynx USB DMX Dongle forum has the instruction manual and various construction photos. This DMX transmitter is a drop in replacement for the Enttec Pro device as far as Christmas lighting and vixen.
Only one DMX Dongle is needed for each set of 512 channels of lighting. This is called a DMX universe. You can run multiple universes to have more channels with an additional DMX dongle and an additional USB port on your computer. Vixen has been tested running two universes (1024) channels and had no issue with it.
This allows you to build and add to your show if and when every you need additional channels.
